Welcome to Collie Western Riding Association

 The Collie Western Riding Assoc Inc was formed officially in 1971 by a group of enthusiastic local riders under the guidance of Dave Little. Previous to this, the riders would meet at Dave’s property, just east of Collie to learn and enjoy the Western style of riding.

The club’s beginnings were small, but the enthusiasm soon spread, and the club was soon flourishing. We obtained the present ground in the early 1970’s and with true determination turned an old railway foundation into the present-day riding arena. The arena has been improved and rebuilt several times over the years, which has resulted in the fully drained, reticulated and well-lit arena that we enjoy today.

We are a non–profit horse riding club dedicated to the promotion, improvement, and presentation of the style of western riding.

Come along to a club day that are held on every second Saturday. 

You can come and try before becoming a member by taking advantage of our Day Membership Insurance. Available for all events, $15 per day for Shows and Clinics, $20 Per Club Day.  Day Membership Forms are located under the Forms and Documents tab.
